MATERIALS
Our research team produces a range of publicly available materials designed for educational use and contributes to public discourse through media interviews and articles. These resources support educators, students, and the wider public in engaging with complex environmental questions, particularly those connected to the lives and relations of human and more-than-human species, and their respective environments. Through activities, visual materials, podcasts, and research-based resources, the materials aim to raise awareness, encourage thoughtful reflection, and support place-responsive and multispecies approaches to learning. This database is continuously updated as our projects develop.
AniMate’s homebase is the Faculty of Education and Psychology at the University of Oulu, Finland. We are also affiliated with the Biodiverse Anthropocenes and SAFIRE- research programmes.
